The Dave Penney connection is there, but other than that, the two club&#039;s fortunes couldnt be more different.  Darlington were riding high in L2 until administration came out of the blue and pulled the rug from under them, whilst Doncaster (The finest footballing team outside of the Prem, it has to be said) were favourites for the drop at Christmas, and have gone on a run which has lifted them to the dizzy heights of mid-table obscurity.
