Week 12.5 Bets (14.01.08)

SSS Tips

Had a look through and there's one bet I like this midweek.

Chesterfield v Rochdale (eng lge 2 wed 7:30pm)

I bet on Chesterfield at the weekend and they lost, but this time I'm opposing them. In their first away game on 11th August Rochdale lost at Peterboro and since then have not been beaten on the road. Although they lie in 10th place that's just 5 points from 4th. Too many draws seem to have cost them position and this midweek they go to Chesterfield who have lost their last 2 games. Rochdale have lost just 1 of the last 9 and 2 of the last 14. The handicap bet was my first point of call but at Rochdale 0, +0.5 it looked ok but draw no bet looks a better option as the price is so high. Taking Rochdale away you have 6 wins, 5 draw and 1 loss so a 6/7 chance of winning which would be odds of 1.17 and then if we take Chesterfield they have 4 wins, 5 draw and 3 defeats so the chance of winning here is 3/7 which still gives a price of 2.33. As Bet365 offer 2.375 we are getting value on both sides and the huge Rochdale margin gives good value.

Round Up (Week 12)

SSS Tips
Two losers and two winners giving a small loss on the weekend. The losers were watford who went down 1-0 and Chesterfield who lost 2-1 at Brentford. Was hoping for a late goal in either of these games as a draw would have put the weekend in profit. Think I underestimated Brentford. The winners were Valenciennes in France who scored very early and went on to win 2-0 and Man Utd on the corner handicap as they absolutely spanked Newcastle 16-1. Mentioned 2 other games in Atletico Madrid who won again and face Real next weekend in an interesting match and then Man City who did nada at Everton.

Bets 60, Wins 25 (plus 5 void and 1 void/loss), Points staked 58.5, Profit +2.60

Spinner Rinse
The rinse isn't as easy as it looks. Ipswich drew and Watford lost as mentioned above and even though the other two won this was another loser. Hopefully the real rinse will be back next week instead.

Accumulators 13, Profit -13

NOTES

There are a 5 midweek fixtures across all divisions so unlikely there will be any bets. This data will be updated on Wednesday and the referees for the weekend fixtures will be added at the same time.
