The last weekend of the season and ended it with a very small profit. Would have been nice to go out with a bang but the a profit is a profit and its these small weekends that have no loss that play a big part.
There are a few games in Scotland this week as their season draws to a close but I won't be looking at them and will draw a line under the season now. This means +22.6 points profit and as 180.5 points were staked a 12.5% return on investment (ROI). I'm very pleased with that and will be back next season for a repeat and hopefully improve. It has all been a learning experience as I have never done anything like this before. Essentially I built this site for myself to use as the stats are how I want to see them and am pleased it has worked out positively.
In less than 3 months the season will be kicking off again and in the meantime there's the European Championships. I don't have stats for that but might put up some comments on certain markets like Top Goalscorer to keep the blog active. Also at some stage I will have examples components of the site for next year ready and would appreciate peoples thoughts on them as and when they are completed. That leaves me just to thank everyone for support throughout the season. Comments and e-mails were all gratefully received and nice to know people have been tuning in. Enjoy the summer and please check back every now and then.
SSS Tips
Toulouse did win but not by 1-0 so that was a loser. They won 2-1 and avoided the drop but I wouldn't have picked that score. Real Mallorca did beat Real Zaragoza who were relegated. They won 3-2 and I think I called that pretty well as Mallorca did get a breakaway goal late on as Zaragoza pushed for an equaliser but personally was let down by them scoring in stoppage time to make it 3-2.
