Week 6 bets (01.12.07)

SSS Tips

We move into December and hopefully we can have a profitable month.

Chelsea v West Ham

This weeks corner bet. A fairly high handicap for Chelsea here of 3.5/4 but a lowish corner total as the line is 10.5. 12/25 Chelsea home games since the start of last season were 11 or over and 13/25 west ham away games. This shows this is bordeline but I noticed that west ham have had 4-5 corners in every away game this season and 4 of the 6 have been 11 or more. This season for Chelsea its half 11 or more and half 10 or less. It's all very even but I think this game will be competitive, and if you add the averages this season together it comes to 12.1. Something similar will do nicely.

Some different bets this week starting with an over/under double.

Wigan  v Manchester City / Hearts v Celtic Double

This both stood out in the console. Wigan at home have been under 2.5 5/6 times and Man City away have been under 4/6. Celtic stand out more than any other team on the over/under chart. All 7 away games have been over and of the 13 games they have played this season only the opening day 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock has been under 2.5 goals
++ Double: Wigan v Man City under 2.5 and Hearts v Celtic over 2.5 @ 2.73 on Bet365 and Betfred (1pt)

Ipswich v Barnsley

Using the HT pie charts I can see that this Ipswich side have been leading at half time 6 of the 8 home games they have played and Barnsley have been losing in 4 of the 9. I fancy Ipswich to go on and win so the HT/FT bet of Ipswich/Ipswich is looking good.
++ Ipswich/Ipswich HT/FT @ 2.75 on Bet Direct (1/2pt)

Atalanta v Napoli

Another HT/FT 1/2 point bet. These teams seem evenly matched and the pies show Atalanta leading at HT in 3/5 home games. 60% of the Atalanta home games ended in a draw and half of Napoli away games so a small risk on Atalanta/Draw looks reasonable.
++ Atalanta/Draw HT/FT @ 14/1 generally (1/2pt)

Stuttgart  v Dortmund

The final bet of the weekend is a straight win bet. I saw the W's in the Stuttgart form table and none on the Dortmund side. Stuttgart have won 4 on the bounce and Dortmund have lost 4 of the last 8. The Stuttgart home record reads W5 D1 L1 and Dortmund away is W1 D1 L5.
++ Stuttgart @ 1.7 on Tote and Paddy Power (1pt)

4 points staked this weekend.

Spinner Rinse

In the rinse we have Reading to beat Boro, Sunderland to beat Derby (Prem), Sheffield Wednesday to beat Colchester (Championship) and then on the double chance Aston Villa (Villa/draw) against Arsenal (Prem) and in Spain Espanyol (Espanyol/draw) against Barcelona.
